About

My experience, with a little more context.

My career during this period developed along two parallel tracks: engineering strategy and portfolio leadership within the Fujitsu engagement, and people and account leadership within Unosquare.

Fujitsu / Airstage Cloud

I joined the engagement as a Scrum Master and grew into Project and Program Management, Portfolio Management, and Chief of Staff responsibilities for the VP of Engineering Operations. Today I operate primarily at portfolio level across a distributed organization of roughly 35 people.

Airstage Cloud brings together web software, cloud services, firmware, hardware, and distributed teams within the quality and security expectations of a global hardware organization. My responsibilities now include portfolio visibility, capacity planning, release governance, support processes, organizational design, and cross-functional coordination.

Unosquare

In parallel with the Fujitsu engagement, I developed a second leadership track inside Unosquare, the consulting organization I belong to. That track added direct exposure to people decisions, client delivery, staffing, rates, and account economics.

I started as a Team Lead supporting roughly 10–12 people, later moved through Delivery Services and Account Delivery responsibilities, and today work as a People Success Lead supporting approximately 26 people across multiple accounts.

That work includes career development, promotions, compensation reviews, performance improvement plans, difficult employee conversations and exits, staffing, client feedback, rate discussions, and gross-margin considerations.

Earlier career

Before this dual track, I worked across requirements engineering, QA, Scrum, ERP implementation, and project delivery, including regulated fintech work at Totalplay. Those roles gave me a practical foundation in how software work moves from a business need into execution.

What I focus on today

My primary focus is engineering strategy, portfolio leadership, and organizational effectiveness: portfolio and program governance, capacity, release processes, and decision support. In practical terms, I help engineering organizations make clearer commitments and deliver them more predictably. I complement that with hands-on experience in people leadership and account/business operations.

I also use automation and generative AI pragmatically: to improve workflows, surface patterns in operational data, and support human decisions. The work remains accountable to the people making product, engineering, and business choices.

Today, I operate primarily at portfolio level—working with project leads and functional leaders rather than participating in the daily execution of every team, while stepping into project detail when the situation requires it.
